I’m often asked by friends and family “how did you do that?” Whether they are referring to a home project I did, a trip I planned, or more recently the organization and preparedness I did for little one my reply is always the same. Organization and planning are my passion. I hope you find that spark in my blog for yourself. If not, I hope it provides at least a pain free way to get your “To Do” lists done.
Let me introduce myself, my name is Candice. Thank you for checking out my site! On this blog you will find tons of ways to organize your home, DIY projects, life advice, travel planning, and so much more.
I’ve always had a knack for organizing and planning, whether it was at work, home or with the family which stemmed from an early age. You know you’re different when all your friends are mudding their cloths and your color coding them! This most likely comes from being raised by military parents. My unique ability definitely validated itself when I had the honor of joining the United States Air Force myself. Even through my career in leadership these skills come into play. I guess its in my blood!
Recently I took a “break” (still undecided if it will be permanent or not) from being a banking center manager so that I could have the blessing of being a full time stay at home mom. As much as I loved my job for the last decade, I’m excited by this next chapter. I can spend time with my little love bug and finally work on my home make over!
In 2015 my husband and I took on our largest project to date, in the form of a fixer up house. Through our journey I’ll share with you my design projects, organization tricks and tips, as well as step by step how tos. Ready to get started? Click here or on the link above to see my home make over.
Becoming a mom was the greatest and scariest moment of my life. I remember thinking “how am I going to do this?” a few times there in the beginning, I hate to admit. What made things a little easier was how much I prepared before her arrival and then how I plan my days now. Having something in place allows me to prepare for the unexpected and to have more flexibility. Find yourself in the same situation? Or maybe you just want some good ideas on how to set up the nursery. Click here or on the link above to see all things baby!
